Usability testing for a virtual reality pride parade.
University of Utah Entertainment Arts and Engineering Department was designing a VR pride parade event so that students could celebrate pride week remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the design process of the virtual event, I was hired to conduct a usability test and write a report on the findings. After conducting 20 usability interviews, the results were condensed into a report, along with all the notes from playtests. The design of the report itself was an opportunity to leverage graphic design as a tool for relaying important information. Three style samples are provided; data and findings are omitted due to student confidentiality.
